What is Fixtures & Fittings | Insurance glossary by upcover

Fixtures and fittings are items attached to a building, such as built-in furniture, fitted kitchens, bathroom fittings, and light fixtures. An item counts as a fixture if building insurance covers it, or as contents if contents insurance covers it. This depends on how firmly the item is attached, and whether removing it would damage the building.
