Hot Work Condition

The Hot Work Condition requires all welding, cutting, or similar work to follow safety standards including Australian Standard AS 1674.1-1997, such as fire watches, extinguishers on hand, and clearing combustible materials before work starts. If the insured skips these steps and a fire results, the insurer may reject the claim.
