Intoxicants Exclusion (Allied Health)

An exclusion for Claims arising from any act, error, omission, or conduct by the Insured, Locum Tenens, or Voluntary Worker while under the influence of alcohol, intoxicants, or drugs, or from any failure to render services competently due to such influence. In Allied Health policies, this exclusion may not apply to innocent insureds where there was no knowledge or reasonable suspicion of such intoxication by other covered persons. This reflects the professional obligation to provide services in a fit and competent state.
