Maintenance of Records Condition (Allied Health)

A policy condition requiring the Insured to maintain proper clinical and business records for a specified period (typically 7 years from the date of treatment or service), and to make such records available for inspection and use in the defence of any Claim. This condition reflects healthcare record-keeping obligations under Australian health legislation, AHPRA requirements, and professional standards. Failure to maintain adequate records may prejudice the defence of Claims and affect cover under the policy.
