What is Related Claims Clause | Insurance glossary by upcover

A related claims clause groups together all claims that arise from the same cause, event, or connected acts. For example, if several clients complain about the same installation fault, the insurer treats these as one claim with one limit and one excess. This makes claims easier to manage, and it stops a policyholder from using up their full limit through many small, related claims that all stem from one underlying problem.
