What is Security Incident | Insurance glossary by upcover

A Security Incident is an event involving security personnel or systems at a hospitality venue. Examples include an assault by or on a guard, or the wrongful ejection of a patron. It can also include the use of excessive force, or gaps in surveillance and access control. A business can be held liable for the conduct of its security staff, whether they are employees or contractors.
