Trauma Counselling

Cover for expenses incurred by the Insured for counselling services relating to physical injury, nervous shock, or mental distress resulting from a Trauma Incident (typically defined as actual or threatened violence or physical harm) occurring during the provision of Good Samaritan Acts or professional services. Generally excludes: persons entitled to counselling under workers' compensation or other insurance; and perpetrators of the Trauma Incident. Cover is usually subject to a sub-limit and specific notification requirements.
