What is Wear & Tear Exclusion (Motor) | Insurance glossary by upcover

This exclusion is standard in motor insurance policies. It removes cover for damage, depreciation, or wear caused by ordinary use and the vehicle's age over time. Mechanical wear, rust, corrosion, and slow decay of parts fall under this exclusion. Insurance pays for sudden events, not gradual decline.
